Use of Information
We usually collect personal information such as your name, telephone number, email address, gender, and delivery addresses, and your financial details. When you are online, we collect information regarding the pages within our network, which you visit, and what you click on. As a general rule we do not collect sensitive information. However, if we do, it will usually be for the purposes of providing our goods and services and if the law requires us to, we will seek your consent to collect it.
We use your information to provide our services to you, to fulfill administrative functions associated with these services, for example billing, to enter into contracts with you or third parties and for marketing and client relationship purposes. Your contact details may be used to contact you to inform you of important information related to purchasing goods, for example delivery, cancellation and exchange of goods.
We may share your information with other companies, which are related to service spectrum, within Qatar. They or we may also use your personally identifiable information to assist us in improving our products and services and any of us might be in touch to let you know about goods, services, or promotions, which may interest you.
If you have registered Atpik account with us, we will hold your contact and billing details. Those details are primarily used to provide you with the online shopping services you have requested and to send you information about the AtPik platform, any upgrades that become available, new developments and forthcoming features and to charge you for service fees in relation to online shopping you have acquired through the Atpik platform.
If you have shopped or purchased anything that are listed in the Atpik platform, we keep a record of your buying data to report to the “MERCHANT”. Your buying data will be provided to the “MERCHANT" if requested for their records and analysis. This buying data does not include your personal contact details which are only given to MERCHANT if, at the time of purchase; you agree to receive information and offers about future promotions directly from the “MERCHANTS”. We will also keep a record of your billing information to allow you to make quick purchases by simply using an email address and password to login to your Atpik account.
You can opt-out of receiving email campaigns from Atpik and our partners either during the promotional or registration process or by logging into your Atpik profile at www.atpik.com and unselecting the various options relating to weekly newsletters, special offers, and special offers from partners. Our partners include third party businesses we have entered into contracts with for marketing and client relationship purposes.
Use by Merchants
All Atpik accounts are managed online. You can use the link, which is at the bottom of every email to log in to your Atpik account at www.atpik.com. All SMS messages are sent with an opportunity to reply and unsubscribe from future broadcasts in your expressed category of interest.
Use by Third Parties
Atpik may disclose your information to its service providers and contractors from time to time to help us to provide and market our goods and services to you. Examples of such third party service providers and contractors include call center operators, software contractors and email/SMS broadcast providers. We may also share your information with third parties who provide prizes for competitions or special offers. If we do this we generally require these parties to protect your information in the same way we do.
Use of Aggregate Data
We may collect certain non-personal information to optimize our goods and services including our Web pages for your computer (e.g., the identity of your Internet browser, the type of operating system you use, your IP address and the domain name of your Internet service provider). Software privacy seriously impacts the software industry worldwide. From time to time Atpik receives reports of suspected piracy and investigates those reports. Software piracy may be a criminal offence, and sometimes an investigation is undertaken. Whilst most reports concern piracy by businesses, some personal information may be collected.
